How The Program Works
Businesses sign on to the program at a monthly cost determined by you. Once a good number of offers in an area are in place, Perks Cards will be distributed to consumers. The businesses themselves are the main source of this distribution, handing them out with receipts, a display at their point-of-sale, etc. There may be other opportunities for distribution through local events or partnerships with local publications.
Businesses are not charged for Perks cards. You will be able to sell sponsorship on the cards to cover the cost of production as well as turn a profit. You will also provide each participating business with marketing materials that are supplied by us (to you).
It is completely up to you how you sell the program and how much you charge your sponsors and advertisers. We only charge you flat fees, leaving the rest for profit for you.
Consumers will learn about different offers through the Local Proud website. As an Authorized Reseller, you will have your own local site that will have certain areas for customization. You will have administrative access to the back-end where you will add and manage your advertisers.

Consumer Website - You do not need any web experience to run this business. We build your consumer website and take care of the hosting. You don't have to worry about a thing.
Reseller Information & Training Guide - A 25 page manual breaks down the program so you completely understand how it works and how to sell it.
Reseller Sales Guide - This is a step-by-step guide to not only selling the program, but how to target each type of business, setting and acheiving goals, managing a sales team and more. It also includes a spreadsheet for you to be able to calculate how much reveunue you can make.
Starter Kit - Everything you need to get started with the program right out of the gate. It includes merchant supplies and marketing materials. With the starter kit, you will receive Perks Cards to show potential merchants and sponsors, counter tents for merchants to promote the program, window clings for merchants' storefront windows, Perks Card holders for card distribution, and T-shirts for branding and promotion.
Informational Website - To make it a little easier to educate potential advertisers about the Local Proud program, we'll create a (separate) website customized with your business information along with a lead-generation form that allows merchants to sign up online.
Merchant Supplies - You do not have to worry about trying to get vendors for all the supplies needed to run the program. We have taken care of all the designing and research involved with each product and offer it to you at the very best prices. Some of the supplies include window decals (or clings), counter tents, business cards, Perks Cards, and card holders.
Promotional Items - Part of any business is marketing and branding. Our creative department will be constantly introducing new promotional and marketing items. Currently, we offer T-shirts, money stickers, coffee mugs and even customized television commercials. If you have ideas on how you would like to promote Local Proud, we will gladly work with you in developing new ideas.
Full Support - We provide support on all levels via telephone or email. This is our livelihood, so you can expect quick response to any questions or issues that should arise.
